This is a family operation, in the sign business for over 25 years, located in Tacoma, Washington,
just south of Seattle. We've grown from making hand painted signs in the garage to a computer-based
operation serving our region. Included are projects completed for our local city, state and
federal governments.
We enjoy working on the usual sign projects for local
customers, but bumper stickers have a charm of their own; consequently we have chosen them as the main
focus of this web-site.
Each sign order is an exciting challenge and we're
happy to help YOU get YOUR message out to the world effectively and inexpensively, no matter how small or
large the order.
Providing high quality workmanship and going out of our way to satisfy our customers has always been
our method of operation. You can expect the same high quality of service on your orders from this
web-site, even though you may be located in another part of this country, or on another continent.
Our products are guaranteed satisfactory, or they will be re-done at no charge, or your money cheerfully
refunded.
We employ the latest secure sockets layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts all
your credit card and personal information, so it cannot be read as it travels
across the Internet. Once we receive it, and your order has been filled, we delete
all your sensitive data to reduce any risk of it getting into the wrong hands.
Self-adhesive sign vinyl comes in rolls, and is quite like Mactac or Contac that you might buy in the
super-market to line cupboard shelves or cover books. There is a thin but very durable layer of
colored self-adhesive vinyl adhering to wax-coated backing paper. This two layered roll (usually
about 14 inches wide) is run through a special plotter-like machine, where a tiny knife, guided by a
computer, cuts the outline of all the letters of the sign message on the vinyl layer only.
The wax backing paper remains intact. Then the surplus vinyl is weeded or pulled away, leaving
just the self-adhesive letters.
Now a sheet of self-adhesive transfer paper,
quite like a sheet of masking tape, is laid on top of the whole sign to hold the letters in place while the
wax backing paper is pulled off. The sticky side of the vinyl letters is now exposed and are pressed
down on the sign medium. The transfer paper is pulled off leaving the sharp looking sign to do
it's job.
With the TEXT ONLY mini-signs, we send them to you with the text
still on the wax backing paper and covered with the self-adhesive transfer paper. You simply peel off
the wax backing paper and rub the mini-sign onto whatever you want, be it a mailbox, vehicle or office
window, etc. Then pull off the transfer paper and you're done.
With the four other types of signs, we attach the cut out text to a larger piece of contrasting colored
self-adhesive vinyl, or to magnetic sheeting, or to clear electrostatic (static cling) sheet or to plastic
card stock (like that of a credit card).
Dont worry about all this technical stuff. When you receive your mini-signs you will have no
trouble using them. With the DECALS, you just pull off the wax backing paper and stick the decal
wherever you want (the typical bumper sticker.) MAGNETICS stick immediately to ferrous metal.
With ELECTROSTATICS peel off the backing paper and smooth it on any glass surface. PLASTIC CARD
mini-signs can be placed anywhere, such as on a wall as a poster, or in areas where moisture
or chemicals may be a problem. IRON-ON DECALS are used by simply placing them on your fabric and
running a moderately heated iron over them until they stick to your fabric, then peel off the
carrier paper.
Above all just have fun! Try to
make the world a better or safer place because of your message(s).
